What is a decant

A decant is a small amount of original perfume, filled by hand from the manufacturer's bottle into a glass atomiser. It is the same perfume as in the full bottle, undiluted and unmixed, in 2, 3, 5 or 10 ml sizes.

How to order

  1. You choose the perfume and the size. You can put several perfumes in the same order, each in the size you want.
  2. We fill the perfume from the original bottle into a new glass atomiser, then seal and label it. Your parcel arrives in 2–11 business days, depending on the country.
  3. Wear it for a few days. If you love it, you'll know the full bottle is worth buying.

How to choose a size

For a perfume you haven't worn before, 2 or 3 ml is enough. If you already know you like it, 5 or 10 ml lasts longer. In the Size guide you can see how many sprays each size gives and how long it lasts.

Where the perfume comes from

Every decant is filled from an original bottle bought from authorised distributors. We don't sell imitations and we don't dilute the perfume. On the About us page you can see how we fill and label each decant.

We are an independent shop with no connection to the makers of the perfumes we sell. The decant comes without the original bottle or packaging of the perfume.

How to use your decant

  • The first time you use it, press the sprayer twice to fill the tube.
  • Spray from 15 cm onto clean, moisturised skin, usually on the wrists and the neck.
  • If you rub your wrists together after applying, the top notes fade faster, so let the perfume dry on its own.
  • Wear it for a whole day and smell your wrist now and then. By evening the perfume can smell different from the first minute.
  • Some perfumes can stain clothes, especially delicate or light-coloured ones, so spray it on your skin, not on fabric.

How to store your decant

  • Keep it at room temperature, upright and with the cap on.
  • Keep it away from direct sunlight and big temperature changes. A bathroom or a car left in the sun are not good places for perfume.
  • We recommend using it within 12 months of the first spray.
  • If you fly, you can put it in the liquids bag in your carry-on.
  • Perfume is flammable and for external use only. Keep it out of the reach of children.

  • We deliver by courier to most EU countries, in 2–11 business days depending on the country.
  • Shipping starts at €5.90 (Ireland €11.90) and is free for orders of €30 or more.
  • Each decant is sealed and packed separately, so it doesn't break or leak on the way.
